Suno, Udio, and whatever comes next

Made it with AI? Let's make it sound real.

AI tools can hand you a finished-sounding song in a minute. What they cannot do is make the decisions a person makes: what to push forward, what to bury, and what the song is actually about. That part still needs someone listening.

Three Ways In

How far do you want to take it?

They stack. Most people start at the top of this list and come back for the next one when they hear the difference.

Step one

Human Analog Mastering

from $15 per song

Your AI song, run through real analog gear and finished by a person rather than an algorithm. The quickest, cheapest way to stop it sounding like it came out of a browser tab.

  • Sample master, $15
  • Full master, $100
  • Creator pack, $350

Step two

Human Mixing for AI Stems

$120 per song

Export the stems from Suno or Udio and I will mix them properly. This is where most of the improvement actually lives, because mastering cannot fix a balance that was never right.

  • Mixed from your exported stems
  • Analog and digital processing
  • Mastering included

Step three

Rebuilt With Real Musicians

Quoted per project

The full version: real players re-record the parts, the arrangement gets rethought, and what comes back is a record rather than a tidied-up generation. This one is handled by my other studio.

  • Real session musicians
  • Arrangement and production
  • Priced on a call, not off a menu

Why bother

What a person actually changes

AI stems arrive with everything at the same distance from you. Nothing is forward, nothing is behind, and the vocal sits on top of a wall rather than in front of a band. That is the tell, and no amount of loudness fixes it.

Mixing it by hand means deciding what the song is about and then making the arrangement agree with that decision. It means the low end stops competing with itself, the top end has air rather than fizz, and the vocal sounds like a person in a room. Those are judgement calls, which is the one thing a generator cannot make on your behalf.

If the song genuinely needs new parts played by people, that is a different job and a bigger one, and it lives at SongGenie rather than here.
